Counting Birds because Birds Count!
Welcome to the Biggest, Baddest Birdathon
this side of the Mississippi!
A Fundraiser for the Audubon Society of Portland
Birdathon is the uniquely Audubon way to help protect Oregon’s native birds. Anyone can participate - from beginner to expert - all are welcome to join the fun!
Like a walk-a-thon, but instead of counting miles, Birdathoners collect donations for counting bird species. Join a team, create your own team or count solo - it's up to you!
Choose from half day trips to 2-day “gonzo” trips. All trips are led by birding experts and are a great way to make new friends and connect with other bird lovers.
Find the trip that fits your schedule and suits your fancy, then get the word out to your friends and family and help Oregon's birds thrive!
Together, we are:
- Protecting birds across Oregon
- Connecting people to nature
- Building a region where people and wildlife flourish together
A minimum raise of $35 per participant is requested unless otherwise indicated.
Registration Opens March 15, 9 am
Birdathon Trips: April 22 - June 11, 2017
